Four Week Stress-Free Swim Training Program
July 8 – August 23
Training Tiers
- Swimming 101: Intermediate Swim Lessons and Stroke Development (Ages 5-8)
- Intro to Competitive Swimming (Ages 7-12)
- Competitive Swim Training (Ages 12-17)
Have your kids become better swimmers, learn stroke mechanics, and the essential fundamentals needed to become competitive swimmers!
Entry into competitive swimming can be intimidating but we’ve designed a program that is laid back, requires no fund raising or volunteer work, and is friendly to your summer vacation schedule.
The program runs for 4 weeks, 5x a week, on weekday mornings before the competition pool opens to all patrons. Participants are not required to come to every practice session. Don’t stress! Come as often as it fits into your family’s schedule.

Swim Lessons For Non-Swimmers
Fee Per Six Lesson Series: $195
Students must be members. Payment due at registration. Lessons are non-refundable once class begins. Make up dates will only be scheduled for instructor cancelled classes. Use of the pools is limited to students only.
Six lessons are taught at a 4:1 student to instructor ratio. Lessons start at the Activity/ Zero Entry Pool but may also include using the lake for lake safety lessons and an introduction to the lake attractions.
The swim lesson program features an introduction to the water class (Level 1) and a beginner swim lesson class (Level 2).
For stroke development, please consider Lake Kandle’s Swimming 101 training program or private lessons with one of our instructors.
Level 1 – Introduction to Water Skills (typical ages 3-5)
Students will learn elementary aquatic skills such as submerging their face, blowing bubbles, explore swimming movements in the water (supported arm and leg action on front and back). Instructors will discuss water safety and may bring the class down to the lake to explore the lake kiddie attractions.
Lesson Time: 10:30am – 11am (two classes)
Series A Dates: July 8 – 13
Series B Dates: July 29 – August 3
Level 2 – Fundamental Aquatic Skills (typical ages 4-8)
Students will learn to float without support on the front and back and will practice recovering to a vertical position. They will practice submerging their head in a rhythmic pattern. Students will also practice gliding on their front and back, explore simultaneous arm and leg actions (front and back), roll over from front to back, and back to front.
Instructors will discuss water safety and may explore supervised deep water attractions in the lake if the class is ready.
Lesson Time: 9:55am – 10:25am (3 classes), 10:30am – 11am (1 class)

Series B Dates: July 29 – August 3
Private Lesson 1:1 Requests
Fee: $50/half hour
